High-Precision 3D Automated Optical Inspection System for SMT Production Lines
The 3D AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) system is designed for high-accuracy inspection of SMT assemblies, providing reliable detection of soldering defects, component placement errors, and coplanarity issues, including lifted IC pins, body tilts, and solder voids.
Using the existing 2D RGB inspection technology, our 3D AOI machine combined with 3D SPI measurement, uses four-direction multi-frequency digital fringe projection for shadow-free imaging, providing full-board 2D+3D optical inspection capabilities, ensuring consistent quality control in lead-free SMT production lines.
The system is suitable for inline or offline inspection and supports a wide range of PCB sizes and component types, including 0201 components, fine-pitch ICs, BGAs, QFNs, and connectors. With intelligent defect classification and low false-call rates, iTECH SMT 3D AOI helps manufacturers improve yield, reduce rework, and enhance overall production efficiency.
